This case/cover is very sleek/stylish. Fairly easy application, colors are very vibrant and true to images shown. The silicone layers that go on under the case add to the snugness of the unit, so it's not advised to skip that step. Despite that, one of my joycon shells does feel a slight bit loose and wiggly, even though the shell was applied correctly and snapped into place evenly. It's something I notice with every use.

I also dislike the slight amount of extra force needed to press the buttons compared to before, due to the silicone cover, but I suppose that that can't be helped as it's no longer direct contact with the buttons. The silicone covers also are useful for keeping out dust and dirt from the controller, so in the end it's fine.

The case also picks up fingerprints a bit easily, but they wipe off cleanly. I have heard and seen that the paint can peel on this model with excessive use, but I haven't had that issue so far. I use handheld mode more often than docked with no noticeable issues.

The console doesn't overheat any more than normal with the case on either. Having the kickstand inaccessible is a major downside, but I do appreciate that PlayVital included a very thin yet sturdy play stand to make up for it. It has grips on it so it doesn't slide around, and multiple viewing angle slots. It's very small and lightweight, and perfectly portable. It doesn't have any grooves to lock the console into place like other 3rd party stands used to have, but for being a stand included for free with a case? It's great

Overall, I really enjoy this case!!! I was too impatient for them to restock this color on another shopping platform, so I opted to buy from their site directly. Entirely worth it. The colorshift is beautiful, I've gotten a handful of compliments on it. It's not the most heavy duty case, but adds lightweight protection against chips and minor drops. It helps against scratches too, at least. Shipping was handled well and arrived within the expected timeframe for the US. Highly recommend this case for a Switch 2.

It’s so gorgeous and it adds a nice flair to my switch! The case doesn’t feel super protective, but all I really needed was something to give it a little extra protection and it does do that! I highly recommend it, it also didn’t cost that much!
